FRIDAY, 6th DECEMBER 2024 - SHUTTLEWORTH IN LIGHTS

Four of the Oid Geezers went to see "Shuttleworth in Lights" again this year after enjoying the spectacle last year.

Unfortunately the weather forecast wasn't looking to good for us. Storm Darragh was expected this weekend and before the stronger winds arrived,  heavy rain was expected in the evening - not good for electrical systems or for cameras. But our determination to go regardless was rewarded and the rain didn't really materialise until we were leaving the garden.

Apparently Shuttleworth had set up the lights themselves this year rather than going to the expense of paying a company to do it. And if I'm honest, I think it showed in the display. There were also much fewer visitors on the night we were there. But we did enjoy the evening and got home safely before Darragh arrived in earnest.

As always, thanks for taking the time to read this  :)
