Thursday, 18th April 2024 - BLACK COUNTRY MUSEUM
The U3A Photography Group had a coach trip to the Black Country Museum near Dudley and despite having been a few times before, I was keen to go.
One particular shot I wanted from the visit was a panorama shot that I'd taken previously and wanted to try to improve on. Here are Visble and Infra-Red versions of the shot. I wonder which you prefer?
Black and White seemed the best medium for most of my shots of the museum - it tends to give an 'older' feel to the shots :-
One shot that needed colour was of the blacksmith who demonstrated how chains used to be made
And finally, one of some friends who were on the trip who seemed to want their photo taken :)
Thanks for looking, comments always welcome.

Brilliant photos Den! I agree that black and white gives the images an 'old' feel although I prefer the panorama in colour and, of course, the orange and reds in the image of the blacksmith gives the feel of the heat and fire. Great stuff! Marion B
